Update, March 2010: With almost a year’s blogging behind me, I’ve realised that I’m not the most prolific of workers. To save you checking back to see if/when I’ve updated, subscribe using the RSS button on the right and get notified whenever those rare updates occur.
This blog is a stupidly public record of my failures in figuring out cameras and learning how to take a half-decent photograph.
Over the last year or so, I’ve been getting interested in photography, but have had the trouble of laziness. Now, the sheer misery of an Irish winter (which covers about 271 days per annum) is a bottomless wellspring of fully-formed excuses, but the summer is, apparently, going to arrive this year. This means that I need to go and actually do something. You see my bind.
Caveat: I’m a beginner, which means that most of the pictures posted here will be dire. However, constructive comments and criticism are always welcome; to be honest, they’re half the reason I’m doing this. So if you have something to say, please let me know.
As to why I started this blog? I thought that it would be a good way to force myself to get out there and take pictures regularly. Am I able to bully myself into doing it, though?
Let’s see.
